I don't know about you,
But I came here today,
To show you God's blessings,
And how He paved my way.

He's a lamp to my feet,
And a light to my path,
He was with me in the beginning,
And He'll be with me to the last.

You see the Lord has never failed me,
And I know He never will.
When I've done all I can do,
It's time for me to stand still.

Satan tries to impede me,
And keep me from going higher.
He promises wealth and riches,
But I know that he's a liar.

God's words are always true,
Real riches come from above.
Like rain falling from the sky,
He showers me with His love.

He's shown to me repeatedly,
That He'll never leave my side.
He's my redeemer and my comforter,
And through darkness He's my guide.

I've put my faith in a spirit,
Which some may find quite odd.
I don't know about you and yours,
But for me, I'm following God.
