The time has come to say goodbye,
You’ve gone ahead to touch the sky,
To a Heavenly home you’ve gone to live,
For you’ve given us all that you had to give.

It is a time of sadness for all mankind,
Because God took you away and left us behind,
Your struggles are over, your rewards are great,
While we must keep striving to reach Heaven’s gate.

And though we are apart, at least for a time,
One day Heaven’s bells will begin to chime,
As we meet once again with stories to tell,
And we’ll never again have to say Farewell...
