As we travel down the winding road,
Through the twists and turns of life,
We will be faced with many hardships,
And encounter moments of worry and strife.
We will go down into lonely valleys,
And climb mountains that reach the sky,
But these obstacles must never deter us,
From these challenges we cannot shy.
For we know this wearisome journey,
And its struggles will not be in vain.
Our existence has a far greater purpose,
Insignificant is our troubles and pain.
During our travels we will meet many others,
Who are desperate, having lost their way,
They are trapped in the prison of loneliness,
Fearing never again to see the light of day.
But it is our mission during our brief time here,
To help those who have nowhere to turn,
To touch someone gives life its meaning,
The ultimate lesson we were sent here to learn.
