Only the Lonely

Only the Lonely has suffered,
The things that I must face,
Battling my demons in solitude,
In a dark and empty place.

Only the Lonely can sympathize,
With the pain that I feel inside,
I yearn for the joys of fellowship,
Will my sorrow ever subside?

Only the Lonely can appreciate,
The Importance of a true friend,
Someone you can always rely on,
Who’ll be with you until the end.

Only the Lonely must suffer,
Going through life without a love,
Praying one day God will bless them,
With a soulmate from Heaven above.

Only the Lonely may discover,
A true Happiness around the bend,
Understanding the truth of life’s meaning,
Finding a Precious Love in the end.
