Perfection is in the measure,
Of a persons charm and grace, Not in the superficial beauty, Of a lovely, sculpted face. Perfection is in the character, That a person shows his friends, Not just trivial acts of kindness, Done as a means to an ends. Perfection is the honest love, Given to those for whom we care, Not in minor displays of affection, Shown acquaintances with a flair. Perfection is the understanding, You have for someone elses pain, Not just pretending to have sympathy, When you listen to others complain. Perfections not found in the flawless, Thats a vision which is so untrue, Instead it can be found in a pure soul, Within the heart of me and you. |
